It all started with us catching WNBA star Paige Buekers mentioning she wish she had a "Shriey Temple" during a post-game interview. That one quote is what took us down the rabbit hole of creating Gatorade's most successful flavor drop to date. We actually created her a custom Shirley Temple-flavored Gatorade, presented it to her during a post-game press conference and it caught fire with the public. So we went on to produce it for the public as a limited-time-drop. It was such a hit we brought it back for year two bigger and better with drop kits and even a partnership with Nike on some Shirley Temple sneakers you can now get your hands on.
